TIG welding is a method of joining metals, which uses a tungsten electrode with a protective gas. The rod is considered "non-melting". The welder must sharpen it before use so that the arc is stable and the seam is smooth.
The tungsten electrode is fixed in the burner in the center of the nozzle. At the edges of the burner there are holes through which protective gas is supplied. Argon is used for this. It protects the welding site from the formation of an oxide film. Additionally, you need to use a filler wire. It is desirable that it be made of the material that needs to be welded.
